Human Rights Day 2011: Advocacy organizations team with University of Minnesota students to "Write for Rights"

Today the Midwest Coalition for Human Rights and Amnesty International USA teamed with student organizations at the University of Minnesota to host a "Write for Rights" event in honor of Human Rights Day 2011. Over the course of the day-long event the groups educated hundreds of individuals about human rights abuses in the United States and internationally and gathered signatures on letters, postcards, and petitions calling for the end to specific abuses.

Midwest Organizations Appeal to International Forum Regarding Meatpacking Worker Safety
